I think we all have those days where time is at a premium. These tuna patties were made just for those situations! This recipe comes together so quickly and tastes delicious!
They’re perfect for any occasion when you need a quick meal, but don’t want to compromise flavor. On top it that, they’re actually pretty healthy!
So much so, that they’ve become my go-to when I want a quick, healthy, hot meal. And they’re SO easy to make!
One of my favorite things about these patties is that there are only four core ingredients!
Making these patties is as simple as combining the tuna and egg, then adding some chopped onion and breadcrumbs. Once you have your core ingredients combined, separate the mixture into thirds. Then form each third into a patty and coat with some additional breadcrumbs.
While you prep your patties, you can heat some olive oil on the stove, so it’s ready to go when your patties are. Add your patties to the heated oil on the stove, and cook each side for 3-4 minutes.
The whole meal takes about fifteen minutes to prep and cook!
I typically make these patties for lunch. I like to have have warm meals when it’s colder out, but I don’t like to take too much time to cook in the middle of the day when I have work to do.
I love that they’re quick and hot, and on the healthy side.
They’d make a great dinner too! You can modify this recipe to meet your household’s needs.
