Popcorn is my go-to snack when I want something crunchy.
Because I try to be healthier where I can, I’ve had many days where I’m in the mood for popcorn but not looking for it to be coated in butter.
That’s where the Everything Bagel Popcorn comes in!
I was gifted this seasoning over the holidays from a friend who said it’s great on popcorn, and wow was she right!
What I love about this popcorn is that it’s a healthier version of the butter and salt popcorn I know and love, without adding any extra steps or taking any extra time to make.
A few notes:
– If you don’t have an air popper, you can use unbuttered microwave popcorn. Or you could pop some on your stove! Coat the base of a thick bottomed pot/sauce pan with oil, add a couple unpopped kernels, then cover and heat on medium heat. When the kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn, and make sure they spread evenly on the bottom of the pot. Recover and wait for popcorn to pop. Remove from stove when finished.
– Oil and seasoning is to taste so feel free to add as much or as little as you like!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
- Less than 1/4 cup of Olive Oil
- Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning to taste
Instructions
- Pop popcorn in an air popper.
- Warm Olive Oil for 30 seconds while popcorn pops.
- When popcorn is finished popping, drizzle with olive oil
- Sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel Seasoning to taste.
- Enjoy!
